Feb 17, AlWood participated in Section 3 Living to Serve Day! Saturday was comprised of chapters going to different locations for community service. AlWood & Annawan served Closet 2 Closet, in Rock Island. Closet 2 Closet provides clothing care packages to Quad Cities foster children, ages birth through 20. We helped sort hangers and make tie blankets. Following our community service activity, we traveled to The Fun Station, in Eldridge. The kiddos got to hang out with fellow members of section 3.

We wanted to make everyone aware that the State of Illinois allows schools to utilize up to five E-Learning Days. Yesterday was our fifth and final E-Learning Day for us to use. Moving forward, we will have to use a traditional snow day and make them up at the end of the year. Thank you for your continued support.
