Backpack Night & Orientation for 6th-grade and new students is on Tuesday, August 6th. The doors open at 5:30 PM for students to organize their lockers with supplies. Orientation starts promptly at 6:00 PM. Students will meet their teachers, walk through their class schedule, and learn about expectations.
Ms. Danielle Olszewski is the new AlWood band director. She is very excited for the upcoming school year and to meet all of you! Next week, August 5th-9th is our 2024 marching band camp. This will be from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM daily at the Middle/High School meeting inside the band room ready to go by 8.
Good morning. Due to a waterline issue at the high school, Registration Day has been moved to the elementary school. It will be held in the cafeteria from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 25th.
Avoid the wait on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 3 -7 PM during registration by turning your packet into the mailbox at the Unit Office or the Elementary School. Once your packet is turned in we will do the rest.

Band Camp for AlWood High School students will be August 5th-9th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM every day. Specific marching band information and the schedule will be given on the first day of band camp. Students should meet in the band room each day with their instrument, a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and wear proper attire for being outside: lightweight athletic clothes, hats/sunglasses, gym shoes - NO sandals/flip flops.

Softball Pep Rally, Sendoff, and Fan Bus details!
SPARTAN FANS show up & show out TONIGHT May 29 at 5:30PM at the Alpha Ball Diamond for a Pep Rally for our State Bound Softball Team! Meet the players and have a chance at to take home some Ridgewood Swag!!
On Thursday, the Softball team will be leaving Cambridge JHS at 12:30. They will travel North on “West Street” before turning West onto “Center Street” which will take them out of town toward Andover. They will arrive in Woodhull around 12:50 and will pick up the AlWood Softball players. Their route to the interstate will start by traveling West on “5th Avenue”, then they will head South on “Division Street”, and finally heading West on “IL Highway 17” before jumping on I 74. Let’s line the streets with fans to show them some small town support as they head out of town for Peoria!

Tonight’s Softball Game has been moved back to a 5:30 start time v. West Central at Alpha and the JV game has been cancelled. Come out and cheer on your Spartans! With a victory tonight, the softball team will clinch a share of the conference championship! Tonight’s baseball DH at Annawan/Wethersfield has been postponed to Saturday at 11am. Saturday’s DH will serve as the LTC East Conference Championship! By splitting with the titans on Saturday in Annawan, our Spartans will have a share of the conference title. By sweeping the titans, our Spartans will be outright champs.
