In Mrs. Schubert's 2nd grade classroom each month, the students set a goal of how many books they think they can read as a class for the month. Each month, they add onto what was already read from earlier in the year. In December, the class set a goal of reading 40 books for the month. The students reached their goal, which gave them a total of 150 books for the whole school year so far. For their reward, they wanted to have a camping day. So, a camping day is what they had, complete with snacks and some extra reading time inside our tents!
