Twelve AlWood 8th-grade students in Flight and Space have earned their very own AMA TRUST certificate/ recreational drone license. That means we have 12 aspiring AlWood drone pilots that can operate remote-controlled aircraft legally in any uncontrolled airspace. They can operate drones for other classes and programs throughout the district. As we continue to add aircraft to our growing squadron, they will have many different opportunities to learn on multiple aircraft platforms.
