AlWood Community District #225

AlWood Elementary School collected pop tabs throughout the second semester of last school year. On Friday, August 30th, Mr. Nordstrom and Mr. Larson donated the tabs to the Ronald McDonald House in Iowa City, IA. With just over 7 plastic storage totes filled, a total of 194 pounds was given to the amazing organization. They have done a lot for families in need, including families in the AlWood School District. The elementary school will continue to collect tabs and will make another donation at the end of the school year.
